GEORGE TOWN, Grand Cayman - From June 1 to Sept. 6, children visiting the Cayman Islands can enjoy free meals, free water sports and a free marine mini-camp at the Cayman Islands Sea School as part of the 'Cayman Summer Splash' promotion.The school will have sessions twice a week featuring activities, crafts, swimming and lessons about the sea. Children of visitors and children of residents are both eligible to attend the camp. Diplomas will be handed out by a popular cartoon character come to life, SpongeBob SquarePants.

NEW YORK -- Want to spend your vacation learning to rock-climb, snowboard, kayak, or surf? Or maybe you want to become a faster swimmer, a better runner or a more advanced diver.
The April issue of Outside magazine lists the best sports camps in America, from the American Alpine Institute for rock-climbing in Bellingham, Wash., to a rowing school at the Craftsbury Sculling Center in Vermont, to Coach Benson's Smoky Mountain Running Camps in Asheville, N.C.
Others that made the list include the Dharma Yoga Center in Miami Beach; the Nancy Emerson School of Surfing in Maui, Hawaii; Andre Puyans Fly Fishing seminars in Island Park, Idaho; the Perris Valley Skydiving camp in Perris, Calif.; the National Outdoor Leadership School in Lander, Wyo., which teaches wilderness skills; and the Annapolis Sailing School in Maryland.
